The Bio Adjustable Single Slatted Bed Base is made from solid multi-layered beech wood with a finger jointed frame. It features ergonomic multi-layered beech slats with lumbar support adjustment. The bed base can be manually reclined in up to 10 different positions in the head and leg areas to tilt the bed to your preferred position.
The Bio Adjustable Single Slatted Bed Base is made from solid multi-layered beech wood, which gives the whole structure strength and stability. The slats are mounted in polyethylene covered slots in the frame and can be easily replaced when worn. Both the back and the leg section of the bed base can be raised by means of a manual tilting adjustment mechanism, allowing you to choose between 10 different levels of inclination to provide maximum comfort in any situation, e.g. when watching TV, reading a book or resting your legs during a night's sleep.
The clean design of this manually tilting slat base makes it easy to fit into any bed frame. The finger joints at the corners ensure very high stability.

The sliding stiffness adjusters on 4 slats in the lumbar area. This mechanism provides extra support where the majority of the body's weight is concentrated to ensure that the spine remains straight during sleep. To increase the firmness of these slats, simply move the adjusters further apart until the desired level of support is achieved.
The wood is lacquered with a pore sealing finish and can be cleaned with a soft cloth and lukewarm water. If necessary, a mild wood cleaner can be used for more resistant stains.
The slats can easily be replaced if necessary. To obtain replacement slats, you can send us a request using the contact form. To replace the slats, simply pull them out of their slots and insert the new ones.
