The ergonomic Blossom Single Row Slatted Bed Base with sprung slats is made of solid, multilayered beech wood covered with an elegant paper finishing.
The shoulder area of the bed base is provided with IFS-technology flower disc springs which distribute the body weight evenly removing pressure. The lumbar zone has double slats overlaid with sliding tension adjusters which allow you to customize the degree of firmness. The slats are inserted in flexible TPV holders so it's easy to change them if necessary.
The minimalist design of the Blossom bed base makes it very easy to insert in almost all bed frames, while the special comb locking system guarantees the stability of the bed base.
The main characteristics of the Blossom Single Row Slatted Bed Base with sprung slats are:
Special IFS technology flower disc springs on two slats in shoulder area. These springs sway flexibly in all directions so they distribute weight more evenly and relieve body pressure by conveying it from high stress regions to the surrounding area that can better absorb it. This technology successfully prevents muscle tension that usually develops from long term pressure on the shoulders. You can regulate the stiffness of the springs according to your preference. The number of discs on a slat depends on the width of the bed, starting from a minimum of 4 discs on an 80 cm wide slat, up to 6 discs on a 120 cm wide slat.
6 Highly supportive double slats in the lumbar area, with sliders to adjust firmness, for individual support. Simply move the sliders outwards to increase firmness or inwards to reduce it.
The flexible TPV slat holders that hold the slats firmly in place and can sway both vertically and horizontally. These inserts improve the ergonomics of the bed base as they have a shock-absorbing effect.

Slats width and thickness: 38 x 8 mm / when the bed base is 120 cm long, the slats are 38 x 12 mm
The product is shipped with the frame assembled and the slats inserted. Only the feet will be screwed in place, if present.

The wood is lacquered with a pore sealing finish and can be cleaned with a soft cloth and lukewarm water. If necessary, a mild wood cleaner can be used for more resistant stains.
The slats can easily be replaced if necessary. To obtain replacement slats, you can send us a request using the contact form. To replace the slats, simply pull them out of their slots and insert the new ones.
