Thanks to its thoughtful, flexible design, the space saving Hiraku sofa seamlessly shifts between three configurations:
- a supportive 3 seater sofa for daily comfort and grounding moments,
- an expansive chaise longue or daybed for reading, stretching, or napping (by adding cushions to serve as a backrest when the futon is fully open),
- a snug double guest bed that makes room when it’s needed most.
All it takes is a gentle pull and the transformation is complete.
Crafted from solid Scandinavian pine wood, the frame can be finished in your choice of clear or black water-based varnish to enhance the wood’s natural grain. The futon features an Oeko-Tex certified cover and a filling made of several layers of pure cotton with a 3 cm high latex foam core, offering breathable support with a soft, grounding feel.

The varnished wooden frame can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a specific wood polish if necessary.
The futon is quilted and therefore not removable. We recommend turning it over several times during the first few months of use to allow the cotton layers to compress evenly. The mattress can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and any stains can be removed with a dry stain remover as the product cannot be wet.
To further protect the futon, we recommend adding the removable cover from the ‘Accessories’ section.
