Simply slide out the seat to transform it into a bed and then lift the headrest if you prefer a chaiselongue. No tools, no hassle. It’s space-saving furniture that redefines versatility.

Built around a robust wooden frame with 15 wide, thick slats, Shift Medium offers enduring durability and supports heavy loads without sacrificing lightness or style. The frame’s natural grain is enhanced with water-based coatings, allowing you to personalize your sofa’s finish in clear or black varnish to best match your living space. The futon mattress, layered with natural batting, ensures breathability and sustained comfort.

The varnished wooden frame can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a specific wood polish if necessary.

The futon is quilted and therefore not removable. We recommend turning it over several times during the first few months of use to allow the cotton layers to compress evenly. The mattress can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and any stains can be removed with a dry stain remover as the product cannot be wet.

To further protect the futon, we recommend adding the removable cover from the ‘Accessories’ section.
