Assembly

All hardware required for assembly is included. A Phillips screwdriver is required to assemble the outer and inner body of the cabinet. A 6mm Allen wrench is required to adjust the metal feet under the cabinet base. The screwdriver and Allen key are not supplied with the cabinet.

Included with the unit you will find assembly instructions with a brief description of each step, as well as instructions on the individual parts as to how they should be positioned during assembly.

Maintenance and cleaning

Lacquered wood: Our water-based finishes seal the pores of the wood, making the surface water-repellent. To clean, use a cloth moistened with lukewarm water and, if necessary, a mild wood cleaner for stubborn stains. Never use abrasive sponges.

Untreated natural wood: Untreated wood should never be wet and can only be dusted with a dry cloth or vacuum cleaner. To remove stains or to smooth the surface if it accidentally gets wet, the wood can be sanded with fine sandpaper (we recommend a 180 grain).

Rice paper: Our rice paper door coverings are all water-repellent because the paper is either pvc coated or glazed with a spray sealant. To clean, use a soft cloth or sponge and lukewarm water, or a mild detergent for stubborn stains.

Fabric: Our fabric coverings should never be wet and should only be dusted with a dry cloth, brush or vacuum cleaner on minimum power.
