Designed specifically for Japanese-style floor beds, the Air Bedside Table in solid beech wood provides a simple surface for your everyday essentials without adding unnecessary visual bulk to the bedroom.
At just 16 cm high, it follows the low proportions of the Air bed frame, creating a continuous horizontal line and a calm, balanced composition. Like the bed, the base is recessed from the outer edges, making the solid form appear lighter.
The top can also be chosen with a traditional tatami surface that introduces the natural texture and character of woven rush straw. The tatami version creates an even stronger connection with Japanese interiors and pairs naturally with all our low tatami beds.
A wide choice of finishes enhances the natural grain of the wood and allows the bedside table to be coordinated with the bed and other furniture in the room.

In the product configuration options, you can choose untreated beech for a natural, authentic look, or opt for one of our eco-friendly, water-based finishes, designed to enhance the wood grain and protect the surface over time. Our colour palette ranges from a transparent finish, through a variety of natural wood shades, to white, grey and black, making it easy to integrate the furniture into different interiors and styles. To help you choose, we offer a free sample delivery service, allowing you to see the quality and grain of the wood in person and compare the different finishes. To request samples, contact us and let us know which colours you’d like to see.
In addition to our standard range, you can also choose a custom RAL colour to match each piece precisely to your existing furnishings or the requirements of a specific interior design project. In this case, we’ll prepare a sample in your chosen colour and send it to you for approval before applying the finish to your furniture.

If it is varnished, the wood can be cleaned with a damp sponge and, if necessary, a gentle wood cleaner. If it is left untreated, the surface can only be vacuumed or dusted. Unvarnished wood should not be wet at all to prevent the surface from becoming rough. If this should happen, however, the surface can be smoothed again by sanding it with a fine sandpaper (180 grit).
